26Health

Gender-Affirming Care, HIV/AIDS Support, and Mental Health & Therapy

26Health is an Orlando-based nonprofit healthcare organization founded in 2011 with a straightforward commitment: care for every letter, every person, every background. Their tagline is not a slogan — it is the operating principle behind one of Central Florida’s most comprehensive LGBTQ-affirming health practices. They provide accessible, compassionate care regardless of ability to pay, with a sliding scale program for uninsured patients and 340B drug pricing that makes prescriptions significantly more affordable.

Primary care services include family practice, chronic disease management, hormone replacement care, telehealth, occupational health, ultrasound services, chiropractic, an in-house pharmacy, and a mobile unit that brings care directly into the community. Primary care hours have recently expanded to Monday through Thursday 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM and Friday 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM.

Focus26 is 26Health’s behavioral health division, offering counseling and therapy, psychiatric evaluations and medication management, ADHD and cognitive disorder support, adolescent services, and relationship and family therapy. Providers use a range of approaches including talk therapy, mindfulness-based, solutions-focused, motivational interviewing, and crisis intervention methods. Their approach centers the whole person and explicitly affirms patients through life transitions, identity exploration, and circumstances that mainstream mental health settings often fail to hold well.

For sexual health, 26Health offers HIV, Hepatitis C, and STI testing and treatment, PrEP and PEP, and at-home STI testing options through a partner service. The Venus Center offers reproductive health services. Adoption services are also available. The Every Letter Health Equity Fund accepts donations to support care for uninsured and underinsured patients in Central Florida.
