Harmony Healthcare is a nonprofit primary care and infectious disease clinic founded by local healthcare providers in response to the growing need for accessible, affirming care for people seeking HIV treatment, PrEP, Hepatitis C care, and gender-affirming services. Their mission is to bridge the gaps in care and improve the health of the community by treating every patient, every pronoun, and every personality with respect. Services are available at little to no cost, with a sliding fee scale for uninsured patients.

Harmony Healthcare offers HIV medical care, PrEP and PEP for HIV prevention, Hepatitis C treatment, STI testing and treatment, gender-affirming care, primary care, wellness exams, and support services including case management. Virtual visits are also available through the Spruce app for patients who cannot come in person.

For transgender and nonbinary patients, Harmony Healthcare provides gender-affirming hormone therapy managed by Dr. Varesh R. Patel, who handles these visits personally and individualizes treatment based on each patient’s needs. Their team also helps patients connect with affirming mental health counselors and navigate social and legal documentation challenges that can come up during transition. Uninsured patients can access gender-affirming care visits through the sliding fee scale program, which covers office visits, screenings, and lab work at no cost.
