HIV/AIDS Hotlines

Crisis Support & Hotlines and HIV/AIDS Support
Help is available for those in need

The CDC National HIV, STD, and Hepatitis Hotline provides free, confidential information, referrals, and support for people seeking answers about HIV and AIDS.

By calling you can speak with trained specialists who can provide accurate information about testing, prevention, treatment, and local care services. Support is available in English and Spanish, and translation services are offered for additional languages.

If you need help finding HIV testing, prevention tools like PrEP, or medical care near you, this hotline can connect you to trusted local providers. It is a safe, judgment free resource for anyone with questions about HIV, sexual health, or related services.

Many HIV care and treatment services in the United States are supported through Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program funding. If you are uninsured or underinsured, Ryan White funded programs may help you access medical care, medications, case management, and support services. When you call, you can ask about Ryan White providers in your area and learn what assistance may be available to you.
