PFLAG
Ally Resources, Community & Support Groups, and LGBTQ+ Organizations & Advocacy
PFLAG is the nation’s largest organization dedicated to supporting, educating, and advocating for LGBTQ people and those who love them. Founded in 1973, PFLAG works to create a caring, just, and affirming world for LGBTQ individuals and their families.
Through local chapters across the United States, PFLAG provides peer support for parents, caregivers, families, and allies seeking guidance, education, and community connection. LGBTQ people are also welcome and often find meaningful support in PFLAG spaces, especially when navigating relationships with family members who are still learning.
PFLAG plays a key role in advancing inclusive policies in schools, workplaces, and communities. Its resources help families navigate coming out conversations, support transgender and nonbinary loved ones, and advocate for safe and affirming environments.
If you are looking for family support, ally education, or ways to advocate for LGBTQ inclusion in your community, PFLAG offers local chapters, national resources, and action tools to help you get involved.
