Pineapple Healthcare
Community & Support Groups, HIV/AIDS Support, and Mental Health & Therapy
Pineapple Healthcare is a primary care and infectious disease clinic serving LGBTQ+ people and the broader community across Central Florida. Led by Erick Suarez, APRN, the practice specializes in HIV care, sexual health, and prevention, with a commitment to inclusive, judgment-free care for patients 13 and up. They have been voted Favorite Health Care Facility by readers of Watermark Out News, and are recognized as one of Central Florida’s most trusted LGBTQ-affirming clinics.
Pineapple Healthcare offers HIV care and treatment, PrEP and PEP for HIV prevention, STI testing and same-day treatment options, primary care, mental health counseling, diabetes management, blood pressure monitoring, and Hepatitis C care. Rapid HIV testing is available, with results in 20 to 30 minutes. For patients navigating Florida’s AIDS Drug Assistance Program, their team can also help with ADAP coverage questions and support.
The practice has four locations across the region: Orlando, Kissimmee, Lakeland, and a new East Orlando location that opened in 2026. Spanish-language services are available at multiple locations, making Pineapple an accessible option for LGBTQ+ Latinx patients in Central Florida. Appointments can be booked online, and the team emphasizes care that is compassionate, trauma-informed, and built around the patient in front of them.
If you are in Central Florida and looking for affirming sexual health care, HIV treatment, or PrEP, Pineapple Healthcare offers knowledgeable, welcoming care at multiple convenient locations.
