QLatinx is an Orlando-based grassroots organization dedicated to the advancement and empowerment of Central Florida’s LGBTQ+ Latinx community. The organization centers racial, social, and gender justice while working to build a stronger, more united community for people whose identities and needs are often overlooked.

Founded in response to the June 12, 2016 Pulse nightclub shooting, QLatinx grew out of the needs of a community that was directly and deeply affected by violence, grief, and systemic inequity. Today, the organization continues to honor the memory of those lost while building affirming, supportive spaces and promoting inclusion, healing, and long-term community care in Central Florida.

QLatinx offers a wide range of programs and initiatives that make it a meaningful resource for LGBTQ+ Latinx people in Orlando and beyond. Its work includes immigrant justice, gender justice, HIV justice, reproductive justice, social justice, healing-centered programming, and harm reduction. Through these efforts, QLatinx helps connect people to support, education, advocacy, and community-rooted services that reflect the realities of living at multiple intersections of identity.
