Trans Lifeline

Crisis Support & Hotlines, Gender-Affirming Care, and Mental Health & Therapy
Reach out to Trans Lifeline

Trans Lifeline is a peer support hotline run by and for transgender people. It offers confidential emotional support to trans, nonbinary, and questioning individuals in crisis or in need of someone who understands their experience.

Unlike many crisis services, Trans Lifeline connects callers with trans operators who share lived experience. The hotline provides support for issues including gender identity exploration, family rejection, discrimination, mental health struggles, and moments of acute crisis.

Trans Lifeline also offers microgrants to help trans people update legal documents such as name changes and gender markers, reducing financial barriers to affirming identification.

If you are a transgender person seeking emotional support, crisis assistance, or help navigating identity related challenges, Trans Lifeline provides compassionate, peer based care.
